Responsibilities
- Investigate scaling and generalization properties of foundation models for robotics.
- Develop agents for robot manipulation, instruction following, and skill learning in simulation and real hardware.
- Build scalable, GPU-accelerated simulation environments and sim-to-real transfer pipelines.
- Contribute to open-source methods, datasets, benchmarks, and tools.
- 50% collaborative work on Ai2/UW projects + 50% independent research.
Requirements
- Within one year of completing PhD or already have PhD.
- Strong foundation (PhD level) in robotics research areas: robot foundation models, manipulation/skill learning, simulation/sim-to-real.
- Extensive work experience and peer-reviewed publications at top venues (RSS, CoRL, ICRA, NeurIPS, CVPR, etc.).

- $159,650
