Senior Software Engineer, Frontend
Build and lead polished, high-performance frontend experiences for Harvey’s AI collaboration products. The role requires 4+ years of frontend engineering experience, strong React and TypeScript skills, and the ability to deliver intuitive user-facing features across the stack.

Responsibilities
- Build new interfaces for lawyers and organizations to collaborate with AI.
- Lead end-to-end UI features for Shared Spaces and future Harvey products, from scoping and design reviews through implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Build polished, high-performance React and TypeScript interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
- Develop crisp interactions, resilient state management, and strong error handling.
- Architect reusable components and patterns and evolve the internal design system.
- Optimize frontend performance at scale.
- Collaborate with design and backend/infrastructure teams to shape APIs and user experiences for long-running jobs, streaming results, and tool-calling workflows.
- Improve frontend reliability and security UX for enterprise and regulated environments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of post-BS/MS frontend-focused software engineering experience.
- Experience working across the stack to ship user-facing features with measurable impact.
- Experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS, including Tailwind CSS.
- Track record of shipping highly intuitive products and strong attention to detail.
- Strong programming skills and general computer science knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits
- Hybrid working arrangement: 3 days in the Toronto office and 2 days working from home.
