Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own polished, accessible, performant, production-ready user-facing features in React and TypeScript.
- Set the technical direction and quality bar for the frontend.
- Mentor engineers and contribute through code review.
- Use AI and agentic development tools such as Claude to accelerate delivery and establish AI-assisted development best practices.
- Build and extend backend services and APIs in Go when needed.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to architect and implement experiences from inception to delivery.
- Contribute to product and technical roadmaps and the broader direction of the engineering team.
- Create and maintain user-facing technical documentation that supports product understanding and adoption.
- Help shape engineering culture and maintain high organizational standards.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, with deep frontend specialization.
- Expert-level React and TypeScript, with strong attention to UX, performance, and accessibility.
- Fluency with AI and agentic coding tools such as Claude, with demonstrated use in efficient software delivery.
- Experience setting technical standards, mentoring engineers, and driving technical decisions.
- Track record of shipping high-quality, production-grade frontend systems at scale.
- Working proficiency in Go, or ability to become productive quickly.
- Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments and prioritize against business needs.
- Customer-centric mindset and strong empathy for users.
- Proficiency in English.
