Member of Technical Staff
Build Socket’s web application end-to-end, developing user interfaces, APIs, and data integrations while helping shape product direction and team foundations. The role requires production web application experience and proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and relational databases.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the Socket web application end-to-end.
- Develop interfaces with the design team that abstract complexity and provide an elegant user experience.
- Build APIs that deliver data from multiple sources.
- Extract and transform data from third-party APIs.
- Help shape the roadmap and plan agile sprints based on user feedback.
- Participate in hiring, including interviewing and providing input on team growth decisions.
- Establish foundational design systems and scalable engineering processes.
Requirements
- Experience working on an early-stage team in a 0-to-1 role.
- Experience designing and implementing production web applications.
- Experience building and integrating APIs and relational databases such as Postgres.
- Proficiency with Node.js, JavaScript, React, and TypeScript.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work across technology stacks.
