About the role
Responsibilities
Execute full-cycle recruiting across technical and non-technical roles including engineering, product, GTM, and operations.
Partner with leadership, founders, and hiring managers to understand team goals, align on hiring roadmaps, and execute prioritized headcount plans.
Scale the recruiting engine by refining structured interview processes, calibration frameworks, and decision-making systems.
Source, engage, and close exceptional candidates through outbound outreach, referrals, communities, and creative sourcing strategies.
Leverage recruiting metrics and dashboards to track pipeline health, optimize time-to-hire, and ensure high-quality hiring decisions.
Deliver a high-touch, exceptional candidate experience from first outreach through onboarding.
Train and support hiring managers with structured interview frameworks, calibration processes, and objective evaluation techniques.
Partner with the Head of Talent and marketing to strengthen Nectar’s employer brand and talent narrative.
Requirements
5–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a proven track record in scaling technology start-up environments.
Proven ability to identify, engage, and close exceptional candidates across both technical and non-technical disciplines.
Collaborative mindset with excitement about working within a growing talent team.
Strong judgment around culture add, role fit, and long-term potential while maintaining high quality without sacrificing speed.
Comfort partnering closely with hiring managers, functional leaders, and executives.
Resourceful, adaptable, low ego, and highly comfortable operating in ambiguity with a strong bias toward action.
Willingness to collaborate in person with the team in Palo Alto.
