Responsibilities
- Build Finn, the first AI-powered wealth manager.
- Design and own the core backend infrastructure, including multi-agent LLM architecture for financial reasoning, simulations, and user interactions.
- Work with massive financial datasets at scale, inventing systems for LLMs to interpret, evolve, and act on billions of real-world data points.
- Push boundaries of AI in money management, from autonomous financial planning to market-aware agentic systems.
- Collaborate with frontend, design, and founding team to craft world-class user experiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a backend engineer developing and deploying production-level backend systems.
- Experience with LLM models and AI-driven systems (or strong willingness to work on LLM-powered applications).
- Fluent in Node/Typescript, Python, Postgres, and AWS.
- Proven ability to architect complex distributed systems with experience in Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes.
- Experience with performance and optimization problems, diagnosing and preventing them.
- Comfortable taking ownership, building new systems from scratch, and iterating quickly in a startup environment.
