Solution Engineer
Solution Engineer partnering with sales teams and customers to demonstrate Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud, support enterprise proofs of concept, and close complex deals. The role requires strong executive communication, broad data and cloud expertise, and hands-on experience with AI/LLM ecosystems, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision, including the AI Data Cloud, to executive and technical audiences.
- Partner with account sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs and navigate sales cycles.
- Demonstrate Snowflake’s value throughout the sales cycle, from product demonstrations through proof of concept, design, and implementation.
- Support enterprise proofs of concept and help close business.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve products and marketing.
Requirements
- Excellent presentation skills and executive presence, including the ability to present impromptu on a whiteboard or through presentations and demos.
- Broad experience with data platforms, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Deep knowledge of data warehousing, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate enterprise Generative AI and machine learning use cases.
- Hands-on experience with modern AI and LLM ecosystems, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
- Familiarity with LangChain, Hugging Face, or PyTorch, and understanding of working with and deploying large language models (LLMs).
- Understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data engineering best practices.
- Hands-on expertise with Python and SQL.
