Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize large-scale Android and distributed backend systems.
- Develop high-performance mobile and distributed backend solutions.
- Lead application development lifecycles, including requirements gathering and technical design.
- Create and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery.
- Ensure security, data privacy, and regulatory compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience in the offered role or a related role.
- At least 2 years of advanced Android development experience, including MVVM/MVI architecture and dependency injection frameworks such as Dagger or Hilt.
- At least 2 years of experience with Kotlin, Java, and SQL, including asynchronous programming and thread safety in mobile and backend environments.
- At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD automation, testing, and monitoring.
- Experience with automated testing, release management, performance profiling, incident response, and analytics.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile teams, with Git version control, technical documentation, code review, refactoring, and debugging.
- At least 2 years of experience with Jira, Figma, or similar tools.
Compensation
- Base salary: $214,000–$222,000 USD, dependent on permanent work location.
- Eligible for a new-hire equity grant and annual refresh grants.
- Benefits provided according to the employee’s work location.
