Senior Android Engineer
Build and own high-performance Android trading features spanning payments, real-time market data, and core UI. The role requires strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose expertise, modern Android architecture knowledge, and experience with CI/CD and Gradle.

Responsibilities
- Build and own Android features across payments flows, real-time market data, and core UI, from design handoff through production.
- Implement polished, performant interfaces with Jetpack Compose for real-time trading conditions.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle build configuration.
- Build and maintain integrations using WebSockets, gRPC, and streaming data.
- Collaborate with a distributed team across time zones and make independent technical decisions.
- Incorporate AI tools into the development workflow.
- Identify and address gaps in Android architecture and engineering practices before they become scaling problems.
Requirements
- Strong, current Kotlin experience, including the ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs.
- Strong, current production experience building UI with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and managing Gradle configuration.
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture and independent technical judgment.
- Active, consistent use of AI tools in software development.
Nice-to-haves
- Android payments integration experience.
- Experience with WebSockets, gRPC, or other mobile real-time data patterns.
- Familiarity with cross-platform shared-code architectures.
- iOS or Swift experience.
- Experience at a larger, mature engineering organization.
