DevOps Engineer

Customer-facing DevOps Engineer helping organizations implement secure, compliant cloud infrastructure through the DuploCloud platform. Requires 2–3 years of cloud or DevOps experience, containerization expertise, public cloud knowledge, and strong customer communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner directly with customers to understand applications and translate them into modern cloud infrastructure using the DuploCloud platform.
  • Dockerize applications running on virtual machines.
  • Set up centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Help customers address SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR, and HITRUST compliance requirements and support security and InfoSec audits.
  • Troubleshoot container deployments and guide customers through infrastructure setup.
  • Support customer onboarding and infrastructure transformation engagements.
  • Participate in rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure, or DevOps.
  • 2–3 years of experience building Docker images across stacks such as Python, Node.js, Java, or PHP.
  • Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, ECS, or similar container orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud security constructs including IAM, security groups, GuardDuty, WAF, Security Hub, intrusion detection, penetration testing, CVEs, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort interfacing directly with customers.
  • Availability for rotating on-call coverage, including weekends and holidays.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Bitbucket Pipelines, or Jenkins.
  • Experience supporting customers through structured onboarding or infrastructure transformation processes.
