Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce CPQ configurations, including product rules, price rules, bundles, discounting logic, and quote templates.
- Develop CLM workflows covering clause libraries, approval chains, contract generation, and e-signature integrations.
- Translate quote-to-cash requirements from Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Finance into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
- Own the full solution lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, release management, and production support.
- Support enhancements, break/fix issues, and maintenance across CPQ, CLM, and ERP/billing integrations.
- Troubleshoot pricing, approval, contract-generation, and integration issues and implement sustainable fixes.
- Apply platform governance, code-quality, documentation, refactoring, performance-optimization, and CI/CD practices.
- Research CPQ/CLM capabilities and improve the quote-to-cash ecosystem.
- Use AI-powered engineering tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and administrators and communicate delivery status, technical challenges, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 9+ years of experience in Salesforce development and enterprise application engineering, including 3+ years in CPQ and/or CLM implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and a CLM platform such as Malbek, DocuSign CLM, Conga, or similar.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, Salesforce Flows, SOQL, APIs, Salesforce architecture, governor limits, declarative automation, integration patterns, and scalable solution design.
- Experience integrating CPQ/CLM with ERP or billing systems; NetSuite is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD, deployment processes, code refactoring, and performance optimization.
- Salesforce Platform Developer II certification is strongly preferred; Salesforce CPQ Specialist and related Salesforce certifications are valued.
- Working knowledge of Cursor, Claude Code, Salesforce Agentforce Vibes, or similar AI-powered development tools.
