About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure every meaningful product release reaches the developers who would care.
  • Drive launches end to end, from narrative development through final assets.
  • Translate engineering work into clear, honest messaging for developers without hype.
  • Maintain consistent communication about product work across channels.
  • Connect engineering, developer experience, design, and creators.
  • Run a launch calendar and keep initiatives moving.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience marketing a technical or developer-focused product authentically.
  • Proven ability to own launches completely, from the initial brief through final assets.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing launch calendars and execution.
  • Excellent writing skills, including technical, developer-facing work.
  • Understanding of technical audiences that are skeptical of hype and quick to identify inauthenticity.
  • Ability to form strong points of view about why product capabilities matter and communicate them clearly.
  • Ability to work constructively and positively in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience working closely with engineering, developer experience, design, and content creators.
  • Interest in working in person at the company's San Francisco office.
