PLM Change Analyst

Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation and change records are accurate, complete, and compliant with company configuration management standards.
• Execute and process ECOs/ECRs in the PLM system following established procedures.
• Route, track, and complete engineering change orders and change requests while ensuring required reviews and approvals are captured.
• Perform PLM system administration, including user onboarding, permissions, role management, and training on PLM workflows and best practices.
• Support PLM implementation and configuration activities, including data migration, feature rollouts, attributes, templates, and change-process updates.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate resolutions with PLM technical support.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to facilitate document approval workflows and maintain configuration control.
• Support engineering administration related to PLM and change control, including item creation, BOM updates, drawing and document revisions, and change-impact assessments.
• Draft procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and flowcharts; train team members on PLM processes and change-management practices.
• Participate in CCB meetings and ensure timely closure of assigned changes.
• Support PLM integrations with ERP, ECAD (Altium), MCAD (SolidWorks), supply-chain, and Quality Management System tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in document control, configuration management, or engineering change management.
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and ability to manage multiple time-sensitive change workflows.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of the company.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret or TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher.
• 5+ years of direct experience with PLM systems such as Agile, Windchill, or Arena, or with PDM/ERP systems; implementation experience is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating change impacts, identifying inconsistencies, and solving system or process issues.
• Experience writing procedures, work instructions, guidelines, and flowcharts.
• Configuration Management System experience.
• Aerospace industry experience.
• Exposure to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements and audits.
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes.
• Ability to document and present technical information clearly.
