Senior Software UI Engineer
Build a new platform from a blank codebase with a primary focus on pixel-accurate TypeScript UI implementation and a secondary focus on C# services and APIs. The role requires 5+ years of software development experience, strong Figma-to-code skills, and production experience with AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities
- Implement the platform UI from Figma files and Claude-generated design templates, translating designer intent into clean, accurate, production-ready components.
- Partner with a UI/UX designer throughout the design-to-code process, identifying technical constraints and proposing feasible alternatives.
- Design and build C# services and APIs supporting the UI, including data modeling and infrastructure work.
- Establish AI-native development workflows using Claude Code and the Claude API for design-to-code translation, service development, scaffolding, refactoring, and test coverage.
- Build core UI components and supporting C# services and APIs with clean, maintainable abstractions.
- Define prompt and context-management patterns, including project-level instructions, skills, and sub-agent workflows.
- Implement front-end and backend monitoring, telemetry, and diagnostics for performance, errors, UX metrics, and service health.
- Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot issues across the browser and backend services.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging AI developer tooling, including agentic coding tools, MCP servers, and LLM-assisted testing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and a modern front-end framework such as React.
- Experience implementing pixel-accurate UIs from Figma or similar design tools, including component structure, responsive layouts, and design-token fidelity.
- Production-level proficiency in C# sufficient to independently own backend services and APIs.
- Working knowledge of REST/GraphQL API design and basic data modeling.
- Hands-on experience using Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or similar AI coding assistants in production workflows.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills across browser and backend services.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and making implementation trade-offs.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Claude or similar AI tools to generate design templates or scaffold components from Figma files.
- Experience with Claude Code, the Anthropic API, or custom tools/MCP servers around LLMs.
- Familiarity with agentic coding patterns, context-window management, prompt and skill design, sub-agent orchestration, or automated code-review pipelines.
- Experience with established design systems or component libraries alongside a dedicated UI/UX designer.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, AI-assisted testing, or code review.
- Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary of $80,000–$100,000.
