Senior Fullstack Engineer, Marketing

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting go-to-market and growth platforms.
• Contribute across the stack, including frontend work when needed.
• Provide technical direction for owned systems, including build-versus-buy recommendations and trade-off evaluation.
• Identify and resolve backend performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Review code and designs and provide peer feedback.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Document system design decisions and backend architecture.

Requirements

• Strong track record owning backend systems in production.
• Full-stack proficiency with Vue, Node, Go, and Ruby.
• Deep experience with backend service design, including API design, data modeling, and database performance.
• Ability to make sound technical trade-offs independently.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with shifting campaign and launch priorities.
• Clear written communication, including architecture proposals and design records.
• Practical, proactive collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience building marketing, growth, or GTM engineering systems, including web platforms, content tooling, or campaign infrastructure.
• Experience in a remote-first or distributed organization.
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond individual work.
• Ability to explain technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
