Forward Deployed Engineer, Hebrew speaker

Responsibilities

• Serve as the dedicated, long-term technical partner within a strategic customer’s engineering organization, operating as a trusted extension of their team.
• Design, build, and deploy production-ready code and configurations directly into customer infrastructure using the Cloudflare platform.
• Own the account's technical success across the entire Cloudflare portfolio and serve as the primary technical point of contact.
• Participate in customer engineering rituals, including daily standups, design reviews, and real-time incident response.
• Identify opportunities to accelerate the adoption of Cloudflare services.
• Maintain deep technical competence across Cloudflare product areas including Workers, security, networking, and observability.
• Surface real-world edge cases and product gaps to Cloudflare’s Product and Engineering teams.
• Establish and maintain trusted technical relationships with senior leadership (Staff+ engineers, Directors, and VPs).
• Maintain a regular on-site presence at customer locations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with a track record of delivering production-grade systems.
• Experience building using modern languages including Go, Rust, TypeScript, JavaScript.
• Experience owning mission-critical services, on-call rotations, incident response, and maintaining high uptime.
• Currently active in the IDE with a "ship-first" mentality and high velocity.
• Full-stack architectural depth across frontend, backend, databases, and distributed infrastructure.
• Experience integrating AI-augmented workflows (e.g., Windsurf, OpenCode) into daily development.
• Ability to decompose complex requirements into scalable architectures.
• Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• High agency, self-starter who thrives in ambiguous "zero-to-one" environments.
• Executive presence for VP-level discussions.
• Fluency in Hebrew and English.

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct experience building on Cloudflare Workers or the broader Cloudflare Developer Platform.
• Previous experience at a fast-paced startup or in a customer-facing engineering role operating within a partner’s codebase.
• Visible public profile including open-source contributions, technical blogging, or conference speaking.

Compensation

For Netherlands based hires: Estimated annual salary is between 101,000 - 130,000. This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
