Supervisor, Product Photography

What You'll Do

• Own the quality standard: Develop and maintain photo quality frameworks, style guides, and acceptance criteria across in-house, freelance, and partner-submitted content.
• Manage our freelance network: Set quality and consistency standards across our national network of photographers conducting on-site shoots at restaurant partner locations. Participate in shoots, coach freelancers directly, and hold output to a high standard.
• Manage and develop a team of Photo Curation Specialists responsible for reviewing, processing, and maintaining photo content across the network. Set priorities, ensure adherence to SLAs, and build feedback loops.
• Evolve how we operate: Partner with Product and Engineering to drive transition to self-service tools and integrations while ensuring quality doesn't slip as automation increases.
• Own our photo metrics: Track photo coverage metrics across the partner network and use data to drive prioritization and make the case for investment.
• Diagnose and fix: Identify process gaps, redesign what isn't working, and ensure photos flow correctly across systems.
• Communicate the value: Help restaurant partners and cross-functional collaborators understand the impact of strong photo coverage and requirements to meet standards.
• Represent the discipline cross-functionally: Bring a clear point of view to conversations involving product, sales, and partner relationships.

What You Have

• 2+ years of food or product photography experience. Have shot professionally, know what makes an image work, and can coach others. Comfortable participating in on-site shoots and accountable for quality.
• 1-3 years leading a team with a track record of direct feedback, developing people, and holding performance standards in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable in Sigma, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools. Use data to surface issues and make the case for change.
• Ability to diagnose when a process isn't scaling and propose improvements. Comfortable with operational change and bringing a team through it.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Monday.com, Slack, Lightroom, and Photoshop. Pick up new tools quickly and think about workflow connections.
• Strong project management skills: Track what matters, escalate appropriately, build relationships, and avoid letting ambiguity stall progress.
• Clear communication: Synthesize data into a point of view, give hard feedback well, and build trust across the organization.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for Together Weeks, team gatherings, photoshoots, and other events when applicable.

Compensation

The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $72,000–$93,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including prior experience, expertise and region. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
