Solution Engineer, Enterprise Acquisition
The Solution Engineer partners with sales teams and customers to demonstrate Snowflake, lead technical discovery and proofs of concept, and support enterprise deal closure. The role requires extensive pre-sales experience, strong SQL and Python skills, and broad database, data warehouse, analytics, and cloud expertise.

Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demos to proofs of concept, design, and implementation.
- Collaborate with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize winning sales cycles, and close business.
- Maintain deep knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
- Travel approximately 30%.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with data lakes, data mesh, or data fabric architectures.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect customers’ business problems with Snowflake solutions.
- Ability to conduct deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake data architecture.
- Must be based in Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, or Alabama.
- University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in data science or business administration.
- Experience with global systems integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $165,000–$216,562.
