About the role
Responsibilities
Own the Core Platform product area, including data, automation, workflows, insights, reporting, integrations, and marketing source data.
Define the roadmap, unblock engineering, and improve the reliability and usability of customer data and AI-agent workflows.
Own selected AI CRM features based on team needs and priorities.
Lead product work across data sources, field management, structured data, deduplication, audit logging, workflows, rules, journeys, reporting, webhooks, APIs, native connectors, iPaaS partnerships, campaign attribution, source tracking, and web analytics.
Align engineering, design, sales, and executive leadership around product vision and priorities.
Engage with administrators, enrollment operations teams, registrars, and data teams to understand customer needs.
Requirements
Experience with product management or equivalent ownership of product outcomes and roadmaps.
Experience working on CRM, data, or platform products.
Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT patterns, rules and workflow engines, API design, and webhook reliability.
Ability to read API specifications and write SQL queries to validate assumptions.
Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and event streaming.
Strong systems-thinking, communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience in EdTech or higher-education SIS and CRM ecosystems, including Slate, Salesforce, Banner, or Colleague.
Technical or deep functional experience in a higher-education or campus setting.
Familiarity with Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Zapier, or Make.com.
Experience designing rules or workflow engines, data-quality or matching systems, or reporting and BI products.
Background in vertical SaaS where data fidelity is a competitive differentiator.
Experience designing or managing public APIs and developer-facing products.
