About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve company-wide compensation strategy, philosophy, and programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership and HRBP to create and evolve job architecture and leveling frameworks.
  • Build and maintain compensation bands. Conduct regular market benchmarking.
  • Partner with Talent to design and approve competitive new hire offers.
  • Lead bi-annual leveling and compensation review cycles.
  • Manage new hire equity grants and design equity refresher program.
  • Oversee annual bonus planning and payouts.
  • Partner on compensation decisions for promotions, retention, and adjustments.
  • Select and optimize compensation tooling.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in compensation or total rewards, ideally in high-growth tech companies (Series D through IPO preferred).
  • Deep expertise in equity compensation (stock options, RSUs), including equity refresher programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, HRIS systems, and benchmarking tools.
  • Proven experience designing salary bands, leveling frameworks, bonus plans, and incentive programs.
  • Comfortable leading companywide review cycles and managing stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate as strategic advisor and hands-on builder.
  • High ownership and sound judgment in time-sensitive situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate philosophy and influence stakeholders.
