Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with U.S. Intelligence Community mission owners, analysts, collectors, operators, CIOs, CDOs, CISOs, acquisition leaders, and mission partners.
- Own complex intelligence-community engagements from discovery and technical shaping through pilots, security authorization, production deployment, customer acceptance, and sustained adoption.
- Define mission outcomes, requirements, architectural decisions, integrated roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, acceptance criteria, delivery governance, and measurable success metrics.
- Translate intelligence missions, analytic tradecraft, data constraints, and security policies into technical requirements and executive communications.
- Lead technical exchanges, design reviews, customer briefings, and cross-functional teams spanning engineering, solutions architecture, research, product, security, legal, privacy, and enablement.
- Coordinate deployments across classified and unclassified environments, IC cloud, restricted networks, and multiple security domains.
- Manage identity and access management, data handling, cross-domain constraints, RMF, ATO, and applicable IC security requirements including ICD 503.
- Incorporate human oversight, source provenance, explainability, model evaluation, red-teaming, bias mitigation, privacy, civil liberties, and lifecycle monitoring.
- Anticipate and mitigate technical, operational, contractual, and mission risks; manage dependencies, tradeoffs, escalations, and changing requirements.
- Support opportunity qualification, solution shaping, proposal development, statements of work, customer acceptance, and long-term account growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years leading technical programs, enterprise AI or cloud deployments, intelligence mission transformation, or national security consulting, including direct delivery experience with U.S. Intelligence Community customers.
- Active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance; full-scope polygraph and customer-specific access eligibility are strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% and work onsite with IC customers in secure facilities.
- Knowledge of Intelligence Community missions, organizations, operating models, and analytic tradecraft.
- Experience delivering generative AI, AI/ML, enterprise SaaS, API, data-platform, cloud, or digital-transformation programs through operational deployment in mission-sensitive environments.
- Executive presence and experience advising agency leadership, mission owners, contracting officers, and senior technical stakeholders.
- Experience translating mission outcomes into requirements, statements of work, integrated schedules, acceptance criteria, evaluation plans, and measurable success metrics.
- Experience with multiple classification levels, secure cloud, restricted environments, enterprise IT, identity and access controls, data governance, cross-domain constraints, RMF/ATO processes, and ICD 503.
- Understanding of modern AI architectures, including large language models, enterprise APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, data integration, model evaluation, security, reliability, and adoption.
- Experience applying responsible-AI practices in intelligence missions.
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $266,000–$370,000.
- Travel may be required up to 50%.
