About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own technical delivery plans for enterprise AI-agent engagements, including SOWs, scope, milestones, dependencies, success criteria, and value hypotheses.
  • Lead technical discovery by mapping workflows, identifying constraints, defining MVP scope, and shaping solution architectures.
  • Drive engineering execution across internal and customer teams, managing priorities, trade-offs, risks, and the critical path.
  • Define MVPs, author requirements documentation, prioritize backlogs, and manage scope as requirements evolve.
  • Lead customer relationships, executive briefings, stakeholder communications, and technical discussions with senior leaders.
  • Define impact hypotheses, baselines, KPIs, and pre- and post-deployment ROI measurement.
  • Build reusable solution patterns, evaluation frameworks, and technical playbooks; feed field insights to Product and Research.
  • Navigate security reviews, legal approvals, procurement, compliance requirements, and organizational complexity.
  • Manage scope changes, expectations, contract modifications, risks, and escalations.
  • Run sprint ceremonies, milestone reviews, and progress reporting.
  • Travel to customer sites; 25–50% travel is expected.

Requirements

  • Experience leading AI/ML engagements or deployments in a technical, professional-services, consulting, or related role.
  • Experience delivering AI, ML, or LLM-based agentic solutions into production.
  • Understanding of solution patterns, integration approaches, and production deployment challenges.
  • Experience in a specialized vertical such as financial services, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, retail, mining, or agriculture.
  • Ability to lead architecture discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and direct technical delivery alongside Forward Deployed Engineers.
  • Track record delivering complex, high-stakes technical projects for enterprise clients across multiple workstreams, ideally in regulated industries.
  • Executive presence and ability to represent technical credibility with senior business and engineering leaders.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, create structure, and build new functions and processes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Compensation

  • Annual compensation range: $275,000–$380,000 USD.
