Analyst, Law Enforcement Response Team

Processes global law-enforcement information requests, coordinates with international response teams, and supports privacy and freedom of expression. The role requires exceptional organization, communication, judgment, and at least one year of relevant safety, legal operations, paralegal, or litigation-support experience.

Responsibilities

  • Handle global information requests, including document intake, processing, and tracking, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Collaborate with Law Enforcement Response Team members in EMEA and Singapore to prioritize requests and ensure consistency in operations.
  • Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and consistency in handling legal requests.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, working closely with the Safety Team to provide timely responses to emergency requests from around the world.
  • Identify anomalies or unusual patterns in requests and escalate ambiguous policy issues as needed.
  • Maintain open, thorough, and regular communication with teammates and cross-functional teams.
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality work on repetitive tasks while managing multiple priorities.
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish, with a focus on detail and organization.

Requirements

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Experience working with user information requests, legal documents, or legal education.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining high-quality output.
  • Passion for protecting user privacy and freedom of expression.
  • Collaborative, persistent, determined, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous policy escalations and make sound decisions.
  • Availability to work weekends, with potential Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday schedules. Shifts may start as early as 6 a.m. or end as late as 8 p.m., with notice.

Nice-to-Haves

  • 1+ years of experience in a Safety or Legal Operations role at a technology company, or as a paralegal, litigation support professional, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience.
  • Ability to identify anomalies or unusual patterns in data or requests.
  • Strong ownership, optimism, and enthusiasm for tackling complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
