Associate, Capital Markets

Supports Ramp’s Capital Markets team by executing funding transactions, managing warehouse and ABS facilities, maintaining financial models and data tapes, and evaluating capital implications of strategic initiatives. Requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant ABS, securitization, asset financing, leveraged finance, or banking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Capital Markets team in live transactions through modeling, structuring, internal memos, lender communication, document review, and document execution.
  • Evaluate the impact of funding strategies in the context of the broader corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives, including product expansion, financial partnerships, bank partnerships, and issuing partnerships.
  • Evaluate economic outcomes and capital implications of new products and commercial agreements.
  • Manage the day-to-day aspects of warehouse facilities and ABS facilities.
  • Own the suite of Capital Markets models.
  • Ensure the accuracy of Capital Markets data tapes and assist with rearchitecting them for product changes.
  • Identify ways to automate and streamline processes for greater efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sell-side or buy-side ABS trading, securitization, asset financing, leveraged finance, or coverage banking, preferably FIG.
  • Excellent financial modeling and quantitative data analytics skills.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with a high regard for precision.
  • Relationship-minded, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in small, collaborative, and ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to blend strategic and tactical skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $104,000–$192,000 annually.
