Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Stripe's frontend platform.
- Drive a large-scale frontend modernization initiative while maintaining architectural quality.
- Redefine frontend development with agentic tooling.
- Define and track metrics such as latency, build times, and reliability SLOs to guide product and platform investment decisions.
- Make technical product decisions involving API surface design, framework deprecation sequencing, extraction boundaries, and migration tooling.
- Drive large-scale migrations or platform transitions across multiple teams, including sequencing, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with engineering on architectural trade-offs grounded in user impact.
Requirements
- 7+ years of product management experience.
- At least 2 years of experience on platform, infrastructure, or developer tools teams.
- Strong technical fluency in frontend web development, including JavaScript, TypeScript, React component models, build systems, and performance optimization.
- Experience driving large-scale migrations or platform transitions across multiple teams.
- Demonstrated use of quantitative metrics to drive platform investment decisions.
- Track record of partnering with engineering on architectural trade-offs.

- Professional frontend engineering background.
- Experience with legacy extraction or monolith decomposition.
- Knowledge of cascading re-renders and frontend performance optimization.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to engineers, designers, and executives.
