Responsibilities
- Set direction for critical dev infrastructure to support rapid growth
- Design and build CI and build systems for robust, fast product shipping
- Improve deployment workflows including hotfixes, rollbacks, and incident mitigation
- Lead tools that accelerate feedback loops (typechecking, linting, testing, deploying)
- Build and maintain scalable development environments, test infrastructure, and core dev tooling
- Introduce and scale AI-enhanced developer tools to boost engineer productivity
- Contribute to Vanta's engineering culture
Requirements
- Technical leadership experience on DevEx or platform teams
- Experience with build systems, CI/CD, and scaling developer workflows in fast-growing environments
- Deep care for performance, reliability, and usability in daily engineering tools
- Strong product sense and thoughtful trade-offs for internal tools
