Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
- Build and develop the Dev & Deployment team, setting priorities, reviewing build quality, and growing technical capabilities across direct reports and contractors.
- Own resourcing and workload planning for template and campaign builds, journey development, and infrastructure work aligned with Lifecycle Marketing OKRs.
Capabilities & Infrastructure
- Build scalable, reusable infrastructure with Marketing Technology, Product, Data, and Engineering.
- Reduce ad hoc builds and integrate AI across the patient lifecycle.
- Document processes, maintain performance dashboards, and ensure workflows and data integrations meet HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
Campaign Operations & Platform Ownership
- Own campaign operations end-to-end, including deliverability, resourcing, timelines, quality assurance, and stakeholder communication across email, SMS, and push channels.
- Serve as the internal platform expert for Iterable and supporting tools such as Mailgun and Twilio.
- Troubleshoot operational issues for internal teams.
Experimentation & AI
- Design and run experimentation frameworks, including AI-powered A/B and multivariate testing, to improve engagement, retention, and conversion.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and introduce new channels and contextual personalization into the patient journey using behavioral data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 7–10 years of experience owning a marketing automation platform as a technical operator, including data feeds, API integrations, event schemas, content and template infrastructure, and technical staff or contractors.
- Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data warehouses, CDPs, CRM systems, and real-time event tracking or streaming pipelines.
- Solutions architecture experience connecting marketing systems with product, data engineering, and clinical or operational systems, including trigger logic, suppression rules, schema design, event instrumentation, and real-time decisioning.
- Experience operating in a regulated healthcare environment; HIPAA familiarity is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of AI/ML applications in lifecycle marketing, such as send-time optimization, content personalization, and predictive segmentation.
- Ability to evaluate vendor claims and integration requirements with sufficient technical depth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Iterable proficiency, including workflows, catalogs, webhooks, API-based sends, and real-time event-driven triggers.
- Experience with comparable customer engagement platforms such as Braze, HubSpot, Customer.io, or Marketo.
- Experience with Snowflake or a similar data warehouse, Segment, and related real-time data infrastructure.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary: $160,000–$200,000.
