Staff Fullstack Engineer
Owns the architecture and end-to-end delivery of Morpho’s DeFi product suite across React frontends, APIs, SDKs, and on-chain data systems. The role requires 8–10+ years of scalable fullstack experience, deep TypeScript expertise, and technical leadership across teams.

Responsibilities
- Architect and own end-to-end delivery of DeFi products with billions in TVL, from React/Next.js frontends through GraphQL/REST APIs to blockchain data indexers, ensuring sub-second response times.
- Design and implement API and SDK strategies for integrators, including versioning patterns, developer experience standards, and real-time streaming systems.
- Build and optimize high-performance data systems processing millions of on-chain events across 15+ blockchains, using intelligent caching and query optimization.
- Lead technical architecture reviews and establish coding standards across product teams.
- Own observability and incident response across the stack using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Sentry.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years building fullstack applications at scale, with demonstrated business impact.
- Experience architecting high-availability systems handling millions of requests daily.
- Deep TypeScript expertise across client and server, including React/Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo Server), Node.js, and typed contract interactions with viem.
- Experience building or maintaining on-chain data indexers such as Ponder, Subsquid, or similar.
- Working knowledge of EVM event structures.
- Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
- Ability to operate in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- Strong ownership and clear async communication skills.
- Team-first approach and ability to raise the capability of other engineers.
