Staff Fullstack Engineer

Responsibilities

• Architect and own end-to-end delivery of DeFi products with billions in TVL, from React/Next.js frontends through GraphQL/REST APIs to blockchain data indexers, ensuring sub-second response times.
• Design and implement API and SDK strategies for integrators, including versioning patterns, developer experience standards, and real-time streaming systems.
• Build and optimize high-performance data systems processing millions of on-chain events across 15+ blockchains, using intelligent caching and query optimization.
• Lead technical architecture reviews and establish coding standards across product teams.
• Own observability and incident response across the stack using OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and Sentry.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years building fullstack applications at scale, with demonstrated business impact.
• Experience architecting high-availability systems handling millions of requests daily.
• Deep TypeScript expertise across client and server, including React/Next.js, GraphQL (Apollo Server), Node.js, and typed contract interactions with viem.
• Experience building or maintaining on-chain data indexers such as Ponder, Subsquid, or similar.
• Working knowledge of EVM event structures.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Ability to operate in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
• Strong ownership and clear async communication skills.
• Team-first approach and ability to raise the capability of other engineers.
