Sr. Staff Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Go-based data pipelines powering growth analytics, from event ingestion through reliable reporting.
• Audit martech integrations, identify underperforming or redundant tooling, and replace or retire it when appropriate.
• Architect and ship experimentation infrastructure for clean A/B tests and accurate measurement.
• Ship full-stack growth features in Go and TypeScript, owning backend services through frontend implementation.
• Apply ML to personalization, predictive modeling, and experiment analysis, taking systems into production.
• Review experiment designs and code from other growth engineers.
• Use AI tools daily to accelerate development and raise the team’s engineering standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience spanning full-stack development, data and analytics infrastructure, and martech systems.
• Production-level expertise in Golang and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and operating production analytics and data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience building and shipping production ML systems.
• Strong systems thinking and architectural judgment, including refactor-versus-rewrite decisions.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development.
• Experience setting technical direction for a growth or data team under ambiguity and limited oversight.

• Experience with a marketplace, fintech, or scaled consumer product.
• Familiarity with prediction markets, financial products, or real-time data systems.
• People management experience.
