About the role
What You’ll Own
- The Financial Stack: End-to-end management of banking, invoicing, bookkeeping, and FP&A
- The Close: Own month-end and year-end close, ensuring books are pristine by the 15th of each month
- Operations & RevOps: Heavily support the Sales team by driving RevOps efforts and integrating systems (e.g., HubSpot to Stripe, Stripe to QuickBooks)
- Reporting: Track and improve collections rate, budget vs. actuals (BVA), and departmental purchase request turnaround
- External Relations: Serve as the professional face of Metriport to accountants, investors, vendors, and customers
Requirements
- 5+ years in Investment Banking, MBB Consulting, or a high-growth startup (Seed to Series B)
- 2+ years of experience creating processes from scratch and improving existing processes
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
- Expert-level Excel and Google Sheets skills; PowerPoint skills to distill complex data into clear narratives
- Thrive in fast-paced environments and drive projects to completion without a playbook
- Based in San Francisco with 5-day-a-week in-office presence
- Low ego, high ownership mindset
Bonus Points
- Experience automating workflows via Zapier or Python script
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Brex or Ramp, Stripe, and CRMs
- Experience in Healthcare IT or Healthtech space
