About the role

What you'll be working on

  • Own the post-sale technical relationship, serving as the customer's primary technical advisor from day one
  • Lead onboarding engagements, guiding new customers through deployment, configuration, and production rollout of TruffleHog
  • Drive adoption by developing rollout strategies, building internal champions within customer organizations, and helping teams integrate TruffleHog into their existing security workflows
  • Conduct regular health checks, architecture reviews, and check-ins to ensure customers are realizing full value
  • Identify and surface expansion opportunities by understanding evolving customer needs and positioning relevant add-on products
  • Own the technical narrative for renewals, build ROI stories grounded in measurable outcomes and usage data
  • Troubleshoot technical issues by reviewing configurations, logs, and customer environments
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to advocate for customer needs and feed back product insights
  • Contribute to customer-facing documentation, knowledge base content, and best practices guides
  • Build scalable processes and self-serve resources that reduce time-to-value for customers

What we're looking for

  • BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent
  • Experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python
  • Comfort working in command line interfaces
  • Experience troubleshooting complex technical customer issues
  • 4+ years of working experience in a SaaS environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical depth for varied audiences, from engineers to executives

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with or supporting Application Security teams
  • Familiarity with secret scanning, SAST, DAST, or other AppSec tooling
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts like TLS/SSL, proxies, and firewalls
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
  • Experience driving renewals or partnering with a CSM team
  • Understanding of SaaS commercial models and upsell motions
  • Passionate about cybersecurity
