About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale Ads Manager, the core UI platform for advertisers to create, manage, measure, and optimize campaigns.
- Develop advertiser-facing APIs and tools for programmatic campaign creation, management, targeting, delivery, measurement, and optimization.
- Build conversion APIs, pixels, insights, and measurement tooling to help advertisers understand and improve campaign performance.
- Create self-serve workflows that help small and mid-sized advertisers launch and optimize campaigns.
- Build enterprise-grade integrations for large advertisers, agencies, and external ad-tech platforms.
- Architect distributed systems and services with strong reliability, usability, privacy, and performance guarantees.
- Partner with Product, Design, Research, and Go-To-Market teams to translate advertiser needs into technical solutions.
- Drive 0→1 product development through rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iterative deployment.
- Maintain high engineering rigor through testing, documentation, observability, and operational best practices.
- Uphold safety, privacy, fairness, and policy compliance across advertiser-facing systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building high-scale consumer, enterprise, marketplace, or ads-related systems.
- Track record of architecting and delivering complex distributed systems, APIs, or advertiser-facing platforms.
- Experience building in Python / FastAPI and TypeScript / React.
- Strong product intuition and ability to translate advertiser needs into clear, reliable, and scalable product experiences.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous product spaces and contributing to technical roadmaps.
- Thrive in 0→1 environments where systems, architecture, and user experiences must be defined from scratch.
- Clear communication and holistic thinking rooted in user needs and long-term sustainability.
- Motivated by building privacy-preserving, safe, and user-first monetization systems.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with ads managers, campaign management systems, advertiser APIs, conversion APIs, pixels, measurement systems, marketplaces, or enterprise ad-tech integrations.
