About the role
Responsibilities
- Define the roadmap and product vision for vehicle driving behavior.
- Align product strategy with Zoox’s overall vision and KPIs on superhuman driving behavior and go-to-market strategy.
- Set requirements for the autonomy engineering team on success metrics and user-story driven scenarios.
- Work closely with Engineering and Technical Program Managers to prioritize requirements, refine features, and flag risks.
- Collaborate with Safety, Systems Design, and Legal partners to ensure road safety and legal compliance.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience (10+ years total work experience).
- Relevant professional experience in applied AI, computer vision, self-driving, or robotics.
- Experience driving complex, cross-functional collaboration across teams with competing priorities.
- Technical background with proficiency in SQL or Python and aptitude for learning new technical skills.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience working on autonomy software or safety-critical system design.
- Technical background with experience in software development or machine learning.
- Brought a product to market in the mobility segment, working directly with customers.
