Senior Solutions Engineer (Pre-Sales)
Provides technical expertise in pre-sales for ServiceNow solutions, collaborating with sales to design, demo, and prove custom implementations. Requires 5+ years pre-sales experience, hands-on ServiceNow knowledge, and strong presentation skills.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new opportunities and develop a deep understanding of customer needs
- Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrate unique expertise in achieving the value of ServiceNow’s solutions in production and at scale
- Design and propose customized solutions that leverage ServiceNow’s products and RapDev services to meet customer needs
- Lead technical discussions with customers and prospects, answering questions and providing guidance on technical features, functionality, and integration
- Conduct hands-on proof of concept testing and product evaluations to demonstrate the value of ServiceNow's solutions
- Develop technical content and collateral to support sales and marketing initiatives
- Act as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow’s solutions and stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings
- Continuously learn and improve technical knowledge of ServiceNow and supporting technologies
- Work collaboratively with the sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure successful customer outcomes
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or a similar technical sales role, preferably in the software industry
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow solutions and a strong understanding of use cases and value propositions
- Knowledge of, or willingness and ability to develop knowledge of, ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, and core platform capabilities (CMDB, Integration Hub, Automation Hub, etc.)
- Technical capabilities in areas such as Cloud Engineering/SRE, Application and Infrastructure configuration and maintenance, Application Development/SDLC
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop customized solutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities

Compensation
Base Salary: $130,000-$180,000 annually, depending on experience, plus uncapped commission potential
