Responsibilities

  • Build features across backend services and microfrontends that power Express POS
  • Take extreme ownership of outcomes and see fixes through regardless of where problems sit in the stack
  • Untangle massive systems and solve high-stakes puzzles requiring creative thinking
  • Jump into frontend or infra work as needed to support the team
  • Leverage AI tools daily to write better code and debug complex systems
  • Provide technical leadership and address tech debt proactively

Requirements

  • 5-7 years building software in high-traffic, production environments
  • High proficiency in Golang; ideally also JS/TS
  • Experience integrating AI into workflow for coding and debugging
  • Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns for scalable systems
  • Strong English communication skills (B2 minimum)

Nice-to-Haves

  • "Figure it Out" mindset for ambiguous problems
  • Full-stack flexibility including PHP when needed
  • Experience with AWS, Terraform, or Kubernetes
  • Mentoring mindset through code reviews and knowledge sharing
