Senior Revenue Accountant
The Senior Revenue Accountant will own day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including invoicing, collections support, revenue recognition, and reporting for a SaaS business. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and experience with ASC 606.

- Own day-to-day revenue accounting activities, including timely and accurate invoicing, collections support, revenue recognition, and revenue reporting for a SaaS business.
- Ensure billing systems and integrations operate as designed, including accurate invoice inputs, credit processing, and daily issue identification and resolution.
- Prepare journal entries that accurately capture revenue, deferred revenue, contract assets, and accrued receivables in accordance with accounting standards.
- Develop, maintain, and improve documentation for revenue processes across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
- Support audit requests and research customer, invoice, balance, and revenue-related questions with accuracy and responsiveness.

- Revenue recognition and reporting are completed accurately and on schedule each month.
- Billing system outputs, credits, integrations, and invoice inputs are reviewed consistently and issues are resolved within established timelines.
- Journal entries and account reconciliations are accurate, well-supported, and completed by close deadlines.
- Quote-to-cash revenue process documentation is current, clear, and audit-ready.
- Audit inquiries and customer invoice or balance questions are researched and resolved thoroughly and professionally.
What You Bring
Your unique talents are what make you shine. For this role, success looks like:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 4+ years of accounting experience, preferably with public accounting experience.
- Strong technical accounting skills, with SaaS revenue recognition and ASC 606 experience preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- Zuora experinece strongly preferred
- Detail-oriented, analytical approach with the ability to manage deadlines, research issues, and maintain accurate documentation.

The Fine Print (That Really Matters)
At PracticeTek, we determine compensation by considering market data, internal equity, and each candidate’s skills and experience. For this position, we reasonably expect to pay between $113,000 - $120,000 This role is also eligible for benefits, including health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and may be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or equity, as applicable.
