Senior Developer Ecosystem Manager
Leads Vercel's developer ecosystem strategy, evolves developer-facing programs, manages global conferences and sponsorships, and builds partnerships with open source maintainers. Requires 6+ years in DevRel or ecosystem roles and technical fluency in modern web tech.
What You Will Do
- Own and evolve Vercel’s Developer-Facing programs, refining sponsorship frameworks, strengthening maintainer relationships, and increasing the programs' visibility and measurable impact across the ecosystem.
- Define and lead Vercel’s developer ecosystem strategy, identifying priority focus areas, building high-leverage partnerships, and positioning Vercel at the center of the modern web.
- Own global conference and sponsorship strategy, determining where and how Vercel shows up, representing the company at flagship events, and establishing clear ROI for ecosystem investments.
- Shape developer thought leadership and narrative, contributing to Vercel Media and ensuring our ecosystem presence reinforces brand, product positioning, and long-term marketing goals.
- Drive cross-functional alignment, partnering with Developer Experience, Community, Product Marketing, and Brand to translate ecosystem strategy into scalable activation.
About You
- 6+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Marketing, OSS leadership, or ecosystem strategy.
- Experience owning or scaling an existing open source or ecosystem program.
- Strong relationships within the modern web or open source community.
- Experience managing sponsorship investments and evaluating ROI.
- Proven conference speaking experience at high-visibility developer events.
- Ability to connect ecosystem initiatives to measurable marketing and business impact.
- Deep technical fluency with modern web technologies (e.g., Next.js, frontend frameworks, cloud platforms).
- Willing and able to travel regularly for conferences and ecosystem engagements.

San Francisco, CA base pay range: $168,000 - $231,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location.
