About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Management and Engineering to shape feature roadmaps, design metrics, and analytical workflows.
  • Build efficient data models, high-quality production pipelines, and telemetry with Engineering.
  • Develop scalable analytics/ML/causal inference frameworks to uncover feature usage patterns, issues, performance enhancements, and customer experience improvements.
  • Adopt early Snowflake features, provide feedback, and evaluate dissemination surfaces (Notebook/Worksheet/Snowsight/Streamlit).
  • Influence decisions, drive initiatives for better customer outcomes.
  • Answer executive questions for board reporting and contribute to industry reports.
  • Think creatively to solve complex, unstructured problems.

Requirements

  • MS/Ph.D. in quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, or CS).
  • 8+ years of relevant data science or related experience.
  • Expert-level SQL & Python (scikit-learn, numpy, pandas).
  • Experience with large-scale machine-generated data (logs, telemetry, usage data).
  • High fluency with MPP databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Vertica).
  • Expert data-driven storytelling to influence business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments.
