About the role

Renewal Management

  • Proactively manage the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customer accounts, owning timelines, coordination, and execution to drive strong retention outcomes
  • Work on upcoming renewals and engage with customers 120 days in advance to secure timely renewals
  • Prepare renewal quotes and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

Customer Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their usage, needs, and challenges
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing insights and solutions to maximize the value they receive from MongoDB

Data Analysis

  • Utilize data and reporting tools to track renewal performance, forecast renewals, and identify at-risk accounts
  • Provide regular updates to the management team on renewal status and key metrics

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales, customer success, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to renewals

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a customer facing sales or revenue role within a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Demonstrated experience owning deals or commercial outcomes through close, including renewals, expansions, or contract execution
  • A track record of strong performance against defined targets, metrics, or goals
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to a diverse audience, both internally and externally
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple opportunities to be managed at the same time
  • Talent for building solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
  • Prior exposure to database, cloud, and infrastructure technology is a plus
