What you’ll do
As a Principal Product Manager, operate at the intersection of product strategy, technical depth, and business impact. Define and drive multi-quarter strategy in critical product domains, leading initiatives that shape the company’s trajectory. Identify high-leverage problems, mobilize cross-functional teams, and deliver step-function improvements.
Responsibilities
- Define and own a multi-quarter product vision and strategy aligned to Brex’s highest company priorities.
- Identify high-leverage opportunities that create durable competitive advantage.
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple teams.
- Develop deep domain expertise (e.g., financial infrastructure, risk systems) to inform product direction.
- Partner with Engineering on scalable technical systems and architecture.
- Set success metrics tied to company-level outcomes.
- Drive structured decision-making in ambiguous environments.
- Influence senior leaders through clear thinking and data-backed recommendations.
- Improve product craft and mentor PMs.
Requirements
- Experience: 7–10+ years of product management in high-growth B2B or fintech; platform/financial infrastructure preferred.
- Strategic rigor: Define strategy translating to business outcomes.
- Technical depth: Fluency in APIs, data models, experimentation, system tradeoffs.
- Analytical excellence: Data-driven; metrics, experiments, SQL.
- Executive communication: Influence stakeholders with structured narratives.
- Systems mindset: Reason across product, technical, operational systems.
- High standards: Raise quality bar for product thinking and execution.
Compensation
Expected salary range: $240,000 - $300,000. Starting base pay depends on location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal pay parity. Equity and other compensation may be included.
