About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex UI/UX features for a recruiting platform used by 100,000+ weekly active users
- Build and enhance an in-house design system with flexible, composable components
- Consult on bespoke design work for Product Engineers
- Redesign mobile web app flows based on customer conversations and wireframes
- Improve information hierarchy and scannability of candidate assessment views
- Ship features quickly and iterate based on user feedback from internal team and customers
Requirements
- No more than 2 years of industry experience as a designer or engineer
- Demonstrated projects (personal or professional) with at least a couple of users showcasing great visual taste
- Burgeoning talent in both UI/UX design and engineering
- Excellent taste and execution in visual design
- Ability to work independently without extensive company-driven process
- Willingness to handle customer issues and investigations alongside high-level work
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience designing products and shipping code to hundreds of users (even through side projects)
- Proficiency in both design and engineering with exceptional proficiency in one discipline
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $98,000 - $165,000
