Summary

Oversee and drive sales operations for the prostate cancer sales team across the Great Lakes region. Lead a team of Sales Account Executives, develop strategic sales plans, and ensure revenue growth.

About the role

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional sales targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of SAEs, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base. As needed, step in and drive orders and volume when required to cover territory gaps and regional target attainment.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and analyze data to drive decision-making.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (science, business, etc.)
  • Proven experience as a Regional Sales Manager or similar sales leadership role.
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends effectively.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including familiarity with cancer diagnostics tests and/or treatments.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
  • 10+ Years of Relevant Sales Experience in Oncology/Urology (Strongly Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SFDC CRM and Google Workspace is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor high-performing sales teams.
