Finance Lead
Own Partiful's finance function end-to-end as the first finance hire. Build financial models, manage P&L, coordinate with external accounting/tax firms, and drive budgeting and cost reduction.
Responsibilities
- Own Partiful's financial model - build it, maintain it, and make it the thing leadership actually uses to make decisions
- Scenario model for our most important decisions - hiring, fundraising, expansion, monetization efforts
- Own pricing strategies & build the unit economics for Partiful’s monetization efforts
- Manage the financial side of ticketing deals - diligencing partners, modeling fee discounts & sponsorship ROI and building guardrails to mitigate risk
- Coordinate with our external accounting and tax firms to keep the close tight, the books clean, and the numbers trustworthy
- Own controls, policies & finance process design end-to-end
- Drive cost reduction across the business - identifying opportunities and actioning them, not just flagging them
- Build and own the company's budget infrastructure: data-driven department-level targets set with each lead, cost centers and card limits configured in Ramp, and tooling for visibility & reporting
- Execute on day-to-day financial operations: AP/AR, internal & external reporting, cash management, cap table admin, and more
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in finance, with a foundation in PE or IB and at least 2 years at a startup
- Comfortable owning the full scope - the fundraise scenario and the Ramp card audit in the same week
- Excellent modeling and analytical skills; comfortable with calculating and owning all financial metrics
- Experience underwriting deals and creating unique, effective deal structures
- Obsess over the numbers, holding an extremely high bar for accuracy and correctness. High attention to detail
- AI-native, with a bias towards creating agents and relying on AI wherever possible to streamline workflows
- Comfortable jumping into any problem to fix it, no matter how small
- Bachelor's degree (MBA as a bonus)

- Compensation range: $170,000-$190,000 depending on years of experience
