Finance Associate
Finance Associate role owning forecasting, modeling, and executive reporting at Brex. Requires 2+ years FP&A or IB experience, bachelor's degree, and AI-first mindset with Excel/PowerPoint mastery.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Modeling
- Own forecasting & planning process, managing operational model and collaborating with stakeholders to drive business recommendations
- Review, evaluate, maintain, and improve financial models used for OKRs and operational & financial reporting
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, and G&A finance processes
Management Reporting & Performance
- Own monthly management reporting and bi-weekly rolling forecast process delivered to executive leadership team
- Support Finance Business Partners with creation of Budget vs. Actuals materials
Shared Across Both Workstreams
- Build out and maintain Finance AI tooling and financial systems infrastructure, identifying opportunities to automate reporting and scale team's impact
- Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analyses supporting senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Investment Banking experience
- AI-first mindset: default to asking how AI can improve workflows, actively experiment with new tools, and have used AI to accelerate analysis or automate tasks
- Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience building financial models and managing complex data
- Strong communication, team-working, quantitative and analytical skills
- Intellectual curiosity, collaborative work style, and drive to take ownership in fast-moving environment
- Comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously and proactively driving work forward
- Bias toward proactive insight over reactive reporting
- Ability to operate independently, build structure in ambiguous environments, and prioritize effectively
Compensation
- Expected salary range: $115,000-$130,000 USD
- Equity and other compensation may be provided as part of total package
Senior Accounting Associate
Supports month-end close, regulatory reporting, and daily reconciliations for a regulated financial services business. Requires 3-5 years of accounting experience, active or pursuing CPA, and U.S. GAAP knowledge.
FP&A Analyst
Rotational FP&A Analyst completing three 8-month rotations across Corporate, Product, and Operations FP&A. Builds forecasts, performs variance analysis, and partners with business teams to drive resource allocation decisions.
Senior Analyst, Commissions
Sr. Analyst responsible for administering sales compensation plans, calculating commissions, maintaining CaptivateIQ database, and partnering with RevOps and HR on process improvements. Requires 5+ years sales compensation experience in SaaS.
