Responsibilities
- Design, build, ship, and maintain full-stack features for large-scale file upload and management, shared knowledge bases, an agent extensibility framework, skills and third-party integrations, and enterprise data synchronization.
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design through implementation, testing, launch, and iteration.
- Write and ship minimal code that runs in low-resource environments with stringent deployment mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, and modeling teams to validate requirements and prototype quickly.
- Raise engineering standards through patterns, testing discipline, code review, and mentoring.
- Use AI actively while remaining accountable for the quality and reliability of shipped work.
Requirements
- Significant production experience shipping full-stack code with Python and React.
- Strong coding abilities and comfort working across the stack.
- Experience building and deploying highly performant client-side or server-side RAG or agentic applications to millions of users.
- Ability to execute in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
- Product-owner mindset and experience owning features from identifying user problems through measuring impact.
- Strong opinions about user experience and willingness to challenge designs or specifications when needed.
Compensation
- Candidates based in California, New York, or Washington States: $215,000–$260,000 USD.
- Candidates based elsewhere in the US: $180,000–$220,000 USD.
- Candidates based in Canada: $260,000–$310,000 CAD.
- Weekly lunch stipend of $75/£75 or local equivalent.
