Build and optimize customer-facing backend services for a real estate decarbonization platform, primarily using Python and Django. The role requires strong computer science fundamentals, debugging ability, independent problem solving, and in-person collaboration across North American offices.

- Build and launch customer-facing features using Django backend services.
- Improve customer experience through performance optimizations.
- Reduce technical debt and improve engineering quality of life.
- Support and collaborate with teammates.
Requirements
- Experience with Python web development.
- Solid understanding of computer science and algorithm fundamentals.
- Exceptional research and debugging skills.
- Ability to understand technical trade-offs and apply the YAGNI principle.
- Strong independent problem-solving and simplification skills.
- Authorized to work in the United States or Canada and able to travel to both.
