Capacity Operations Manager
Own the operational and analytical management of GPU capacity, improving fleet health, utilization, supplier accountability, and remediation across neocloud and bare-metal environments. Requires 5+ years in infrastructure or large-scale compute operations and experience with hardware suppliers, fleet health, and RMA processes.

Responsibilities
- Drive suppliers to keep the GPU fleet online and healthy.
- Reconcile contracted, provisioned, healthy, and utilized capacity by supplier and cluster.
- Own supplier fleet-health accountability, including replacement SLAs, mean time to repair (MTTR), and RMA cycle times.
- Monitor SLA performance against contract terms, file and pursue credit claims, and enforce remedies.
- Drive remediation plans when suppliers fall short of contractual expectations.
- Coordinate internal communications for supplier maintenance that may affect availability.
- Build processes, metrics, reports, and operational practices as the function evolves.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of infrastructure experience focused on the compute lifecycle and maximizing functional compute, ideally in a hyperscale, cloud, or large-scale compute environment.
- Direct experience managing GPU, server, or data-center hardware supplier relationships.
- Understanding of fleet health, RMA processes, and the difference between contracted and delivered capacity.
- Strong analytical skills, including independently extracting data, building reports, and generating insights.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments and define needed processes and systems.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with finance, infrastructure/engineering, legal, and security teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience at a hyperscaler, neocloud provider, or AI infrastructure company.
- Familiarity with GPU hardware lifecycles, including NVIDIA H100, H200, and GB200 systems.
- Knowledge of power and thermal constraints and compute supply-chain dynamics.
- Experience running formal supplier corrective actions.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual compensation of $225,000–$235,000, plus meaningful equity.
