Conduct frontier security research across code, cloud, and AI technologies, developing threat models, agentic workflows, and functional prototypes that enable contextual understanding and new product capabilities. Requires 5+ years of security or security research experience and strong systems architecture expertise.

Responsibilities
- Investigate the code, cloud, and AI technologies that the company integrates with and protects, answering research questions that unlock new features and product areas.
- Design and build high-quality functional prototypes, taking product ideas from inception to working proofs of concept and supporting development teams through initial implementation.
- Conduct technical research to model risks and attack vectors specific to modern cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems.
- Define and implement novel agentic workflows and advanced methods for contextual understanding of evolving application and cloud environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research.
- Strong threat-modeling mindset and deep understanding of attacker approaches to complex environments and enterprise defenses.
- Deep architectural understanding of complex software systems, with a low-level, distributed, or core systems engineering mindset.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive complex, multi-quarter research projects from concept through working proof of concept and product integration.
- Strong ability to define and implement agentic workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Security research experience in modern cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, focusing on risks to AI deployed in enterprises.
- Foundation in program analysis or programming language theory, including parsing, abstract syntax trees, compilation, or static code analysis.
- Familiarity with model benchmarking, evaluation, or fine-tuning.
- Experience with query languages such as KQL or SQL for security telemetry analysis, or relevant large-scale data mining experience.
