Conducts deep technical research into cloud- and AI-native environments to identify novel risks and attack vectors, then translates findings into product capabilities with Product and Engineering teams. Requires at least five years of security research experience and strong scripting and telemetry-analysis skills.

Responsibilities
- Conduct deep technical research to discover and report novel risks and attack vectors specific to modern cloud- and AI-native architectures and systems.
- Identify the highest unaddressed risk areas and work with Product and Engineering teams to translate research into product capabilities.
- Define foundational product capabilities by delivering proofs of risk demonstrating impact and technical proofs of concept showing how to solve identified risks.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure comprehensive risk coverage and support investigation of new and complex product areas.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in security or security research relevant to modern cloud environments.
- Strong scripting skills with Python or Go for automation and research.
- Experience with query languages such as KQL or SQL for analyzing security telemetry.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and lead complex, multi-quarter research projects from concept through impact.
Nice-to-haves
- Specialized knowledge or research experience in AI security, especially enterprise AI risks.
- Public-facing experience, such as presenting at industry conferences, writing technical blog posts, or publishing research.
- Experience conducting data-driven research with large-scale security telemetry and deriving statistically significant or high-impact findings.
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
