About the role

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data from the travel management system to generate reports on travel expenditures, travel patterns, and policy compliance.
  • Prepare monthly or quarterly reports for management to evaluate the effectiveness of travel programs.
  • Update SLAs to track and monitor the success of the travel program.
  • Audit booking platform to ensure consistency in line with travel policies.

Communication & Support:

  • Liaise with travel partners and other third-party suppliers to provide updates to travel security and resolve data or traveller profile related problems or discrepancies.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Travel Operations team as required.
  • Assist with case management resolution in a timely manner and follow up any outstanding tickets.

Training and Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain training materials related to travel operations back office processes and policies.
  • Document all travel-related processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.

Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and suggest improvements to travel processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the overall traveler experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in travel management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Travel Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in travel operations, corporate travel management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of travel management systems/processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of corporate travel policies and industry best practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from travel data.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with travel systems.
  • Familiarity with travel data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Project management experience.
  • Knowledge of global travel regulations and industry standards.
